Hello and a donation question

Been lurking for quite a while, downloading once in a while, so I decided to join up properly. I donated $20 last week but didn't hear anything from the site owners. Is this normal? Just want to make sure they received it.

Like many of you, I started reading comics in the early 80's and kind of lost interest a while back. I purchase lots of Omnibus Editions but I live in Asia and send them to my mom's place in Canada, where I then put them in my storage locker. It is quite depressing (my comic books are there as well) but one day I will be back in Canada and will have a nice library waiting for me.

Thank you for the donation and sorry you haven't heard back yet.  Mark, our illustrious leader who is in charge of that side of things, has been up to his eyeballs with work on the site, and dealing with the recent Fawcett problem. I'll drop him a note.
Apart from that, welcome to CB+.  You'll find that some of us are just a bit older and started reading comics in the '50's, and we're still addicted.  Enjoy the comics and join in the conversations.

Hi sorry for the delay and MANY thanks for the donation which was received safe and sound.

As our site has well over a million scanned pages that should keep you a bit busy before you are reunited with your stash in Canada!

No worries, just glad you received it. When I move back to China this fall, your site will come in handy, since the Chinese government has not banned it (yet). :)
