They're here as well (unfortunately, *only* the covers and not the interior Buck Rogers strips those issues originally contained), in some examples better, and some worse (and a couple, much worse), than what you see on that page. IIRC, there was a portfolio of the Frazetta BR covers issued by Russ Cochran back in the 1980s or early 90s that had the pristine cover artwork, issues sans logos and typography. I was not aware that these covers may have been responsible for Frazetta being hired to assist Al Capp on Li'l Abner, though!

One interesting observation I made that I'd never noticed before is that there seems to be a story connection between the covers of FF 213 and FF 214 (i.e., the silhouetted figure in the airlock of #213 would appear to be the same Old Spaceman that threatens Buck and Wilma with a blaster on #214). That makes me more curious than ever to actually read the BR stories reprinted in those issues, to discover whether Frazetta was basing his covers directly on the strip's storyline continuity reprinted in those very issues.

Aha! Found it!! Here are the FF Buck Rogers cover art images as seen (sans type) in the Russ Cochran-issued portfolio (1975, even earlier than I thought)...

Great find,but what interests me more is the Maltese Falcon comic. He uses a cutup of some of the pages for the blog Masthead.

That is 'Feature Book #48, publisher David Mckay and Art by Rodlow Willard. I'm guessing its pretty rare. As a Hammet fan from way back, would love to get a copy of that. Am I missing something or do we have no David McKay books on CB+? Are they under some other masthead?

No, that makes perfect sense, since McKay's main (possibly only, I haven't checked) product was dealing in reprints of the popular King Features characters, whether in anthology titles or their own one-shots as part of the rotating "Feature Book" series.
