Does anyone know if this is the same website that held the $1M auction for Action #1?  This must be a stunt... unless other forces are at work, perhaps the US dollar really is becoming worthless.  :o

Actually, the dollar is rising against the Euro, DL (well, more likely that the Euro is falling...), and yes, this is the same site. All you have to do is read the press release at comicconnect.com. These are the same guys (Metropolis Comics in New York) that sold my Amazing Fantasy #15 last year - although they didn't get any record for that. Sigh...

Thank you scanners for free comic book scans!

Pulp paper browns and becomes brittle and then crumbles.

I MUCH prefer comic book scans to paper comic books.

I wasn't really thinking dollar vs. euros JVJ, but you're right... hopefully it stays that way, but it's not likely.

Since I'm heading for Paris in three and a half weeks, DL, I HOPE it stays that way, too. The financial troubles of Greece and Portugal are not likely to go away soon, but then neither is the $ suddenly likely to exhibit any reason for confidence.
