Have a look at the illustrations [ highly faded] on the inside front cover of this book. Whoever did those really knew his stuff. A Disney illustrator?

They're the work of an animation studio, Dibujos Animados Chamartin. I found this on the Catalan Wikipedia (computer translation):<br>

Here is a "Visitor's Guide" to the First Festival of Cartooning (1943) showing the Chamartin characters and some artists' names. I found it on a sale site and unfortunately the seller offered no background beyond the title and date.
