Watch out for the Indonesian movie, Gundala, about to be released in the west.

My son spends a lot of time in the Phillipines and says it's big on style and character - the first Indonesian superhero movie and hopefully the start of a Bumilangit Cinematic Universe.

I've always been a big fan of south-east asian comic books - Darna, a kind of wonder woman, being a particular favourite - never understood why the recent TV series wasn't picked up in the west (maybe someone has now, I can't keep up with all these new streaming services)
