Hey

I was thinking that Bronze Age artist Herb Trimpe (The Hulk) worked for Marvel Comics, but, to the best of my knowledge, never worked for DC.

Can you think of any artists, mainly Bronze Age/living, who worked for DC, but never Marvel? Nick Cardy and Kubert?

I believe you're right on garcia lopez.

Yeah, he was only 57.

Kubert did a number of stories for Marvel in the 1950s in a variety of genres.  In more recent decades he has also done work for them.  I can remember seeing his work on both the Punisher and Ghost Rider as well as a mini-series of his own character Tor that was published by Marvel.

The only work I can remember seeing that Cardy did for Marvel was a painted cover for their black and white Kung-Fu comic mag in the 1970s.  He may have done more but that is the only one coming immediately to my mind.

Now did Swan or Anderson ever work for Marvel?  How about Irv Novick?  Joe Giella?

I don't think Swan did any, same as Aparo - sadly they are both gone. I'm trying to think of a DC-exclusive artist to draw some Marvel characters, but I'm not coming up with much (that I could afford). Maybe an inker ...
