Christmas Carol

Looking forward as I do every year to watching the Muppets Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve, I wondered what your favourite comic book version might be?

I remember an Uncle Scrooge McDuck (perfect casting) that I was fond of - and I'm pretty sure I had a Classics Illustrated that some well-meaning aunt bought me. I know there have been DC and Marvel interpretations but is there something special from the Golden Age that the experts on this site should refer us to?

What was the classic Scrooge story? 'Christmas on Bear mountain?'

He certainly does - extraordinary sense of movement in each frame - no talking heads here.

Yes! Well done, Panther - you nailed it. Christmas in Shacktown is the one I remember - probably reprinted in some British Disney annual a few years later
