This is an enjoyable version of the Ali Baba tale. O'Donnell did a good job fleshing out the old fable, and Mendoza's art has a smooth elegance that places it among his best work. The one sour note is Nikki. He appears out of nowhere and is drawn as if he came from an entirely different comic.
