[The Hall Room Boys (later retitled Percy & Ferdie) was a comic strip by a Nova Scotian cartoonist living in New York City by the name of H.A. McGill.]
The Hall Room boys were the subject of a number of Silent film shorts, some of which can be found here.
They are not shot well, but the film that the videos were taken from looks quite good.
