I am thinking of doing away with VIP status, and giving the majority of users unlimited download status. This is primarily what VIP is now anyway.
Rather then a VIP you would be either and "express" or "unlimited" user.

Other users will have continue to have their regular quota.

However, if we keep VIP, what exclusive features are interested in? I am thinking as an example other PD scans, or other items (you decide) that we can have.

Doing away with newbie would be good. It is misleading. VIP status could include Silver Age and Fanzines.

I trust that people will chime in -- as a VIP, what do you want to see as part of the package? We have a special VIP forum room. We offer unlimited downloading. What else will make the VIP status more enriching and meaningful to those who gain it?

Boox909, I was thinking of just changing many of the VIP's to Unlimited, or something of that nature. I think some people are interested in unlimited downloads, and that "unlimited" title would serve their needs and purpose. VIP should be something special and something more.

Most fanzines were never copywrite so they are PD. Check the now up fanzine section for examples

It certainly needs to be tweaked to meet the needs of GAC members while keeping life hard for chumps who want to download and sell the files on *bay!  ;D ;D ;D
