Thanx for this. Inneresting cover and bizarre Kirby Lockjaw. Earl the Rich Rabbit is signed in the Splash by Tony DiPreta.

Thanks for pointing that out. The artwork definitely looks very different from Lockjaw's, and from Kirby's drawing style. I thought I was told that Kirby also drew "Earl the Rich Rabbit" (in a discussion of Kirby's having drawn a few Funny Animal stories). But, maybe that was referring to another episode in another Punch and Judy book. Or, that "Earl The Rich Rabbit" had been drawn by another famous artist only known for his realistic Human figure artwork.
