I was glad to see the last page of photos of Russ Conway. I was beginning to think he was afflicted with a permanent smile, like the guy in "The Man Who Laughs." Someone remind me who Russ Conway is.

He was very popular in the later '50's.  Piano player with what seemed like a permanent smile.  He had some big hits, Side Saddle arguably the biggest Here's some info:-

All these late '50's weeklies and the Miarabelle lok a likes carried stuff on Dickie Valentine; Jim Dale and so on.  I didn't realise how popular Dickie Valentine was.
