Years ago I bought a DVD of a movie that was supposed to be in 3D but never worked right.
It had four pairs of 3D glasses in the box. Luckily I kept those.
There are far better 3D images and videos available these days and those glasses still work fine.

The book you linked to works better than most of that time period found on this site, the images are cleaner and less cluttered.
