For a period of time (after they absorbed the Fawcett love comics and burned thru the remaining inventory), the Charlton editorial policy for romance comics changed to "stories for people with short attention spans." 4 or 5 pagers which allowed for virtually no character development or involved plots, most taking place in a very short time span and a narrow location. Add to this the mediocre art and sloppy printing, and these issues are very hard to take. To their credit, Charlton did clean up their act (somewhat) later on.
