Hi raycomic, while I acknowledge there's no ownership of scans and that the primary motivation of both the DCP movement and myself is to preserve and share comics with as many people as possible, seeing as my handle is clearly visible in the place you're downloading all those issues from it really wouldn't hurt to at least acknowledge that you're not the person buying, scanning, processing and sharing these comics.

Hi I am sure this is just an etiquette oversight, and I can rectify!

I can add attribution on if I know which comics to add which names to.

Are there a lot more to come as I was really pleased seeing these appear?

Also, are any of these Hoover / Bogoff books? I am guessing you must have had dealings with Robert Downing who is sadly no longer with us. We owe him a big debt here. I believe that we are missing a stack of his books, which it would be nice to find and upload.

Thanks for the friendly reply! =) This is a fantastic site, and it's a shame my first post is about something negative.

It's mainly 50s British stuff I've been working on (the Sun and Champion stand out); not all of raycomic's uploads have been mine and TBH I can't be bothered to work out attribution after the fact, though. A few of them aren't mine, not sure whether other scanners have had the same thing.

Not mine or your job to clear up someone else's laziness. I just think for honesty's sake a generic "credit to the original scanner, as I didn't buy, scan, process or share this issue" is the least raycomic can do. I mean, they can cut and paste literally that.

Like I say, most important thing is getting these comics to readers. But personally it irritates me when people imply they've done anything other than find something someone else has done, whether by omission, poor etiquette or wanting to take credit. It's a petty thing but I'm a petty person, with a low tolerance for leeches.
