Picture News gives up and launches a fiction series. Too late, though; this was the final issue. Nice art by Harry Anderson on several items. It's funny how in the lead story Anderson does a typical good job, but for the flashback on our page 6 he really cuts loose. You can see where his heart was. Picture News was an interesting magazine. In issue 9 they began crediting (some of) the artists in the inside-front-cover editorial. Some good stuff--Anderson, Charles Voight, a surprise Jack Kirby, one or two unidentified personnel. Also some near-amateur bits. Jack Lehti, not one of my favorite Dell artists, produced some of the best art of his career for the book. I didn't know he had it in him.
