Welcome, Fin. I'm afraid you won't find Abner on the site because he's still under copyright, but you can sample a bunch of Abner knock-offs! Every company seemed to have at least one. Looie Lazybones (Thrilling Comics, Better/Standard) is the best-known because Frank Frazetta drew the strip. Charlton even published Hillbilly Comics, fronted by Gumbo Galahad, Th' Screwball o' th' Hills. Archie's Laugh Comics had two non-Abners, Pokey Oakey and Catfish Joe, in the same comic. And on and on.
