That list of 'Amusing Works has some doozies!
'The brother to the moon's visit to the court of Queen Victoria' forming a companion work to 'the crowning of prince Taffy'! Love to read those!
Re the 'Sure Water cure', probably did some good getting some Victorians to bathe. I understand it wasn't too common at that time.
There was obviously money to be made by somebody!
No crazier than the still common expensive mud baths, or some of the currently huge Diet Industry shenanigans?
