Hopefully there will be a final volume bringing the Beetle up to date with all the books we are able to Host here.
Frabig, I think this is a first - don't think anybody else has put all the Beetle Stories together, even tho the character is PD in this period.
For me this volume is' a curate's egg.'
The positive is that Joan Mason is a stronger character, even to the point of headlining one story.
The Art is excellent.
However,
Having the Beetle suddenly have Superman's powers because, 'Radiation' - just grates. Doesn't suit the character or the stories.
The stories - are typical of the misinformation and misunderstanding about Atomic power and Radiation that were standard in fiction at that time. And they are way too word heavy, for mine. Not nearly as much fun as the earlier stuff.
It's a pity we can't complete the collection with the Newspaper strip.
