I just had my id reset so I could start downloading again. However, now when I
try to download I get the following error message:

Hi.

What do you mean "I just had my id reset so I could start downloading again." Were you banned from the site under a different account name?

If that is not the case, I think you should make sure that you type in the same login info on the download site that you use for the forum, because on our end, you are loaded up for downloaded.

So, about this 'id reset'....

You guys limit how much we can download each month. Last month I reached the capacity and could not download until you reset the limits. Now the limits are reset and I should be able to download, except that when I try I get the above error message,
which relates to my id. Why am I getting this error and what to do so I can download
again?

Excuse us for regulating what happens with this free service. I already told you that you are loaded on our end. If you cannot download there is something that you are doing that is preventing you from downloading. One suggestion I gave you was to make sure you had the right login info (and after I gave that to you, you did download two files...or attempted to download two files) ... you must give us specifics.

Please read the GAC F.A.Q. when you get a moment. In the future, I ask the favor of your posting help requests in the help area; you are not getting "bad uploads", you are simply having a problem downloading.

explain the circumstances surrounding the error I was getting. I'll try to post this in the

I hear you -- but if it is not an "incorrect login" issue I have no idea what it could be. You are set up on our end, but could it be your isp? You are not on dial up, right? Dial up is a nightmare with a site like this. If you are using AOL that is another nightmare with this site (in my opinion). Regardless, post some specifics and perhaps one of the other staffers will have an idea what is wrong. If the problem is not resolved for you soon, contact Janus (who may be able to see your full status/situation) on site.
