« on: September 17, 2010, 04:45:30 PM »

Hello all,

I'm doing a work involving a development of a mythology figure and I choose to do it on the god of war Ares/Mars (as he has A LOT of veriations)

I wanted to ask, except from the 'Man of War' comics and 'Boy Comics' #1 (Bombshell stories - 1 apperance) did the Mars/Ares apperad in any other GA Comics?

Thanks for any help given

You could check out Comics.Org:
Ares appearances: http://www.comics.org/character/name/Ares/sort/chrono/
Mars appearance: http://www.comics.org/character/name/Mars/sort/chrono/

that second one looks like appearance of the planet too.

Ares appeared in early Wonder Woman stories.  In brief he was the champion of vicious men, while Aphrodite (I think) was championing peaceful women.

Yep, and he had three lieutenants: Deception, Greed, and Conquest. He was actually going by the nom de guerre 'Mars' and even had his base of operations on Mars. Moulston's WW is just about the best version, imo.
