Her experiments combining page composition with storytelling makes her work distinctive. (Terror Island) is a mystery, and it isn’t known who hides behind those initials – TERRY POWIS (The Missing General) is best known for writing and drawing war comics. He was born Frederick Powis in England, emigrated to Australia and worked producing movie posters (as Fred Powis) and comics (as Terry Powis).
