 I'm wondering if anyone else is having issues opening some of the CBZ uploads. About three weeks ago, I found I have been unable to open most of Downunder Dan's excellent uploads, as well as a few others. Are they being zipped or packed in a different format? Cheers, bowers

I haven't had any trouble opening them, and I'm using a Mac, which usually has more problems opening PC system-created files than PCs do.

It would help if you listed some specific downloads you are having issues with, and ideally a few that work fine, for comparison purposes.

Also, how exactly are you opening them, ie with what program? Comic reading progs can often flub themselves  if the file structure is a little off or if it uses unsual image formats, or sometimes if it includes certain other files. (I remember many years ago seeing an issue where archives made from macs included some mac-specific file which caused issues opening the archives on PCs.)

Also, what exactly happens when you try to open the problematic files? Nothing? An error message? The archive opens but there's no images? ...?

I'm an infrequent visitor to most parts of the forum, so just spotted this. I haven't changed how I make the cbz files. Feel free to specify any of the problematic ones (here or send me a direct message) and I'll see if my inexpert eyes can spot anything!
