Adventures Into The Unknown 51 Jan 1954
Adventures Into The Unknown 52 Feb 1954
Adventures Into The Unknown 54 Apr 1954

These are three of the books that ACG put out in the early Fifties that utilized their version of a 3D comic. The process was called TrueVision and debuted with AITU 51, where it continued for eight more issues in that title, and also showed up in a handful of their other books such Commander Battle And The Atomic Sub and Lovelorn. Don't know that the latter really needed it, but the stories definitely had a distinct look and feel to them with heavy black borders and art that extended into those borders as a semi-3D effect. And no glasses needed! Harry Lazarus did the art on these issues, and may have done them all as he created the process for ACG.

I have #'s 55 and 56 in working condition. Are we sure that ACG books are kosher on the site, though? The last thing I thought that I read was that the mods were undecided on that point. Anyone?

I agree with you - the TrueVision is certainly cool. I'm a sucker for ACG stuff anyway, with all those great Ogden Whitney and Kurt Schaffenberger stories (Silver Age, anyway)!

Roger Broughton might have acquired the assets of AGC but he does not seem to have done to much with them, and at least for Adventures into the unknown l can find no copyright renewal so we will host them, l will look into the AGC situation a bit more when l get a chance, for now they can sit in the unsorted section

Adventures Into The Unknown #'s 55 and 56 should be available in the "Unsorted" section by the time you read this!
