Saw this on the 'net for a book scanning service in Markham, Ontario (Canada). No idea what they charge:

probably costs an arm and leg, but you don't need to unbind your books. Don't know if they do comics, but these companies must exist if anyone doesn't want to cut up their rare comics.

This would be a great service for something like the pre-Timely Motion Picture Funnies Weekly!
