JSA: The Return of Earth-2?
« on: August 31, 2011, 11:41:48 PM »

Of course Earth-2 lives on and we have gotten glimpses of it in classic issues of the recently ended Justice Society run that featured the New DCU Earth JSA (or what I call the reconstituted Earth-1a).

Our friends at Flashback Universe Blog share some info on the return of Earth-2's JSA (look at some of the recent entries on FBU as there has been some great entries lately) here: http://flashbackuniverse.blogspot.com/2011/08/return-to-silver-age.html

The Atomic Comic Book Blog offers extensive comments from DC creators given at the recent Fan Expo Canada here: http://acomicbookblog.com/2011/08/return-of-jsa-to-dcu-post-flashpoint/

Finally, DC Universe's The Source, officially confirms the return of the classic (and best) version of the Justice Society of America here: http://dcu.blog.dccomics.com/2011/08/27/the-justice-society/

DC is playing it smart in my opinion...I have no intentions of buying any of their reboot DC Earth-52 offerings, but if they are going to finally give me DC Earth-2, I'll buy it...I can only hope that this new showing of the Earth-2 JSA is handled with care and reverence to the legacy of these classic characters.
