so ive gone thru sam hill and ken shannon    looking for some more gumshoe goodness any more pi comic series??   on this site i mean.

Have a search for Kerry Drake.  Also, although they are text with illos, you have to try The Thriller and Union Jack, in the UK and Aus. section.  Thriller is a bit like a pulp and seriously well illustrated.  Union Jack was home to Sexton Blake.

Charlton Brings You More so How about: Sherlock Holmes, Charlie Chan, Mr and Mrs Chase in Crime and Justice, Inspector O'Malley in Racket Squad. Then there is Bert and Sue in later issues of Super Mystery and most all the features in Camera comics.
