No, there are no "Classics Illustrated" comic books displayed on this website, because they are still under copyright (I believe they are under copyrights of First Classics, Inc. of Chicago, USA.  Classic Comic Store, Ltd. was issuing new comic books per agreement with the Chicago-based copyright owners as recently as 2008.  It is believed that some entity still has their copyrights in force, which is why none of their books appear on this website, or on Digital Comics Museum.

Here is a link to a forum thread containing our discussion over The "Classics Illustrated" copyright issue:

As Robb said, no Classics Illustrated here. However if you're interested we have a few "competitors," some rather good. In our UK comic section are two issues of A Classic in Pictures, with excellent art and adaptations.

In American comics, the closest CI imitator was Seaboard Publishing's 1950 Stories by Famous Authors. Much of the artwork was by H. C. Kiefer, a Classics Illustrated stalwart.

Seaboard actually began the series in 1949 under the title Fast Fiction. Famous Authors re-used that material.

Dell put out two short classic stories comics, Famous Stories and Dell Junior Treasury. The latter had both "realistic" art stories (two beautiful Alberto Giolitti issues) and "cartoony" tales more in the Classics Illustrated Junior vein.

Finally, Nesbit's Superior Stories was rather a low-rent series but it featured good art by Pete Morisi.

Maybe you'll find something here that suits your fancy.
