Hero Heads Podcast
« on: March 17, 2013, 11:16:03 PM »

My name is Rian, I am one of the hosts of the HERO HEADS PODCAST on iTunes. We just recently started doing the show and I joined this site to help research the comics of the Golden Age. I am very excited to be part of Comic Book Plus, http://heroheads.podbean.com

Hello Rian and welcome to CB+.  As narfstar says, piles of superheroes here incl. non-American ones.
You're starting with one of my great favourites in Batman, although I can't bring myself to read the newer stuff. Can I be selfish and ask you to consider a podcast, or part of one, on The Phantom?  He started before Bats and there are some of us on CB+ who have him high up on our list of all time faves.
Don't forget to mention us in your casts.

Hi Rian,
Welcome aboard. And hopefully we'll have enough comics to help in your research :) Apart from the main comic page which is grouped by publishers we also have a categories section, https://comicbookplus.com/?cbplus=categories. Which is basically the some books, but this time arranged by genre.

As an example https://comicbookplus.com/?cbplus=superhero would be a great place to start your journey, also have a look at the masked mystery men section https://comicbookplus.com/?cbplus=maskedmysterymen some rather cool stuff in there!

O and also good luck with your enterprise!

Best regards,

Mark

I certainly will plug the site on our next recording. We do them three/four at a time since the material is timeless. In response we will defiantly do the Phantom to encourage those at CB+ to lend their ears.
