There are still a few artist who have the magic of the "old timey"  comic book artist .some of my favorites are Steve Rude,Mark shultz,Mike Allred,Dave Stevens,Bruce Timm,Darwyn Cooke. Are there  other  modern comic artist that have a golden age feel that i should know about?

Everett Raymond Kinstler led to Neal Adams and Berni Wrightson...  and both used some of Louis Ravielli's techniques as well...  and of course, they both try like hell to match Frazetta ...

I consider Adams and Wrightson silver age/bronze age artist.I was refering to 1980's-00's when i said modern.

Mike Allred, perhaps? With that, others may be added, such as Tom Scioli or other kirbyesque artists.

Check out most anything from AC Comics.  Lots of GA feel to new material as well as lots of GA reprints.
Bill Black is one of the closest to looking like Kirby when he wants to.
