I know that Jakk Jave of Jack Lake Publications claims to own the copyrights to Worldwide Classics Illustrated, but that could be argued in court if anyone wanted to challenge it.  There are certain circumstances that are not widely known about certain issues.

I would love to contact a CI collector who might have some of the NEWARK STAR LEDGER versions of the newspaper versions from March 1947 to March 1948.

This group has two issues of CI's school-year series which appeared under the names PICTURE PARADE and PICTURE PROGRESS.  These appeared during the school years and were sold through the schools for several years.  If anyone has scans of these two titles, they may want to post them with the to already here.

I don't know if the following will be of use but it might be of interest. There was a Spanish series of Classic stories and there is info. etc. here:-

What you do with the links is, of course, up to you.

I have cover scans of 276 issues of JOYAS LITERARIAS JUVENILES as well as over 100 issues of EDICAO MARAVILHOSA and ALBUM GIGANTE which was the series that  reprinted CI in Brazil--most are by BrAZILIAN authors but some are Brazilian translations of the French series MONDIAL  AVENTURES.  There are also about
80-85 Greek CIs that are new and at least 30 or more new CI JR from Greece and the JES series
