Authentic Police Cases

I see several of us jumped on the bandwagon to upload issues of this comic in response to OtherEric.

Yoc -- the #4 I uploaded does have ifc ibc.  You can either merge with what you put there or replace.  It might even be the same scan just added to.  I don't know.

Thanks Jon.
Well, I see issue #4 is actually AAC#8 on closer inspection.
I've renamed the link as larger scans of #8 but the downloaded file will still show as #4.  There's no way to change the file name once it's on the server.

My own incomplete copy of #4 was also really #8.
I'm betting this is another example of a book that is being shared on DC++ and BitTorrent with the improper name all the time while a real #4 still needs to be found and scanned.  I've lost count of the number of times I've found books that aren't what they are identified as being on DC++

I've also not added the duplicates you uploaded Jon.

Yoc. you're right sorry.  I just downloaded that #4 from someone else this morning just to put it up there.  I should have checked first

I will try to find a true #4 if there is one

Good luck with that Jon but I've got a strong suspicion any you find will be the same misnamed #8.
Obviously I made the same mistake myself when I found it ages ago likely on DC++.

And if you happen to find any of those missing Phantom Lady stories from the 'Help Wanted' last page of the Phantom Lady Archive PLEASE grab them for us!  Great Action #9 seems the mostly likely to show up but so far no luck.

See, Yoc, you just need to ask the right questions.

I can't afford any of the Phantom Lady issues you need.

Great Action #9?  Just ordered it, with any luck I'll have it to scan next week sometime.  ;D

This might sound odd, but I'll tell you what I paid for it after I have it in my possession.  I know, that makes no rational sense.  But I don't really feel like it's my book until I have it in my possession; and if something goes wrong I'll have to add the cost to my next attempt to get it.  Or, like anything you buy online, something could be wrong with it.  So I won't tell you what I paid until I know what I really paid for.
