Howdy Pilgrims
« on: June 05, 2014, 09:09:19 PM »

Online I go by DakotaSurfer.  Had the handle and website since the 80's.  I'm presently retired/disabled but work for John Wayne Enterprises running the Official John Wayne Forum and Admin for the Official John Wayne Facebook page.  Been doing this for 7 years now.  Been a John Wayne fan since my great-grandfather took me to see "The Alamo" almost 55 years ago.

I spent 12 years in the Navy and ran my own computer business before that.  I came here from a search engine looking for the John Wayne Adventure Comics Series that Duke had made in 1949.

Plus today is my birthday and I'm 49 and holding (for a few years now).

Greetings!

I found some of the comics I was looking for but not some of the others.  Guess they aren't public domain or no one has them to scan.  Thx!

Happy Birthday BTW. All the John Waynes should be PD but they are pretty expensive so they are not all scanned yet.
