I love this Ibis character - imaginative stories, & great art! Thanks VERY much for sharing. and if there are any more in the series, I'd love to see them (hint hint!).

Once you've enjoyed the other issues on CB+, you can make a start on his appearances in Whiz Comics:-

Ooh! Wow! My first reply - how cool (spot the noob, yo!). Thank you, paw broom. Didn't realise all my comments would appear on the forum (blushing slightly). Whilst I'm NO stranger to your site (& many others), this is my first foray into 'ForumVille' - so, HELLO! And cheers for the heads-up on the Ibis appearances in 'Whiz Comics' - MOST appreciated! In fact, I've half a mind to rip off Ibis BIGTIME for one of my own comics, but take that with a pillar of salt, as VERY FEW of my own projects ever come to fruition... :-/

Well, the character & his Fawcett appearances are public domain (unless there was a copyright renewal that the people running this site missed), so it wouldn't be much of a rip off.

That being said DC might have trademarked the name when they bought the Fawcett characters, so it would probably be a good idea to rename him.

Many thanks for your reply about my declaration of intent to "rip-off Ibis BIGTIME", SuperScrounge - however, I must confess that declaration suffered from (ahem) ever-so-slight hyperbole! I really ought to have said that MY character would be simply yet another in the time-honored tradition of superhuman/mystical caucasian turban-wearing heroes, which includes not only our beloved Ibis, but many others, ranging from Mexico's 'Kaliman' to The Mystery Men's 'Blue Raja' (as played by the wonderful Hank Azaria), but as you've probably begun to guess by now, that would have been a FAR more difficult sentence to navigate than my original dorky blunt statement. My apologies. ;-)
