Looking for superhero/mad scientist story to animate
« on: November 05, 2014, 01:19:46 PM »

Hello there

I am looking for a superhero and/or mad scientist story that could be made into an animation so what I'm really looking for is a good story - the quality of the drawings is not really important.

Does anybody have any suggestions for any particular comics or stories that they believe would look good as an animation.

Thank you

what about a little of both https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=11505 Charlton Premier 3

Weird Comics has Dr. Mortal a pretty cool mad scientist. Also the Dart is a decent super hero.

Thank you Narfstar - I'll give those all a look. There is so much wonderful stuff on here it would take me months to plough through everything!

Certainly like the idea of a superhero working for evil rather than good.

Thanks again

Hey gotta love that Doctor Mortal - keeps promising to be good but keeps being bad. But each episode they always forgive him and help him out . With such idiots around him you can't blame him for pursuing his work!

So we have a scientist called Dr Mortal who appears to be killed in every issue but inexplicably returns in the next issue.

Doesn't want his niece and her husband to interfere with his plans but lets them know every time he has something in mind.

Occasionally tries to kill his niece or offer her as a mate to his hideous creations but she and her husband often help him out.

Nonsensible and probably perfect - thank you for the suggestion

I thought he was really cool. I looked up mad scientist on the GCD and he popped up. When I checked it I liked it.

I have been trying to follow the link to Charlton Premiere #3 to see what you guys are talking about, but I keep getting a "You do not have access to this file" message.

Whoops sorry ... Probably due to this thread (which I hadn't read at the time) someone recommended it as a reading group book. I looked inside and saw a valid 1967 copyright notice, So, sadly it had to go :(
