g'day
« on: June 15, 2015, 08:52:46 AM »

nope.  i'm not aussie.  i just like the term.  i could just as well say "hi y'all".

my true identity is jim, and i am fine with being referred to as such.  it's a hell of a lot better than how i am referred to most of the time.

i am just me, and too damn old to change.  for some reason, something popped into my head awhile back and made me want to check out old comic books.

hopefully, my search is successful, but, even if not, i trust that the time spent with y'all will be worthwhile

Hello Jim.   Welcome to CB+.   I quite like g'day, as well.  But whether it's that or my version, "how's it gaun?", or anything else for that matter, they're all decent greetings.  Just enjoy the comics and feel free to join in the conversations.

I was thinking about that greeting and a closer spelling of how it's pronounced might be, "howzit gaun?".  there's a definite "z" sound in there. I heard somebody say that this morning in town.
