Late 40's/early 50's western comic.
« on: October 21, 2015, 04:17:03 PM »

Hi!  I wonder if anyone out there can help me to identify and locate a western cowboy comic which contained a story entitled (or at least based upon) 'The Seven Wonders of the West'?  I was particularly fond of this issue as a lad, and it would be great to have the chance to read it again.  Unfortunately I cannot remember the comic's title or even the cowboy hero's name, so I'm afraid there's not a lot to go on.  It was probably issued during the late 40's or possibly the early 50's.  I have trawled through scores of titles in an effort to find it, but as yet, no joy.  Can anyone help?  Thanks in advance!  Melbee.  :)

There's a story with that title in Ken Maynard #7 from Fawcett, a yet unscanned book

The only Ken Maynard scan I can find is a coverless #3, and the lead story appears to be, "The Pied Piper of The West", so I suppose that's not it.  Sorry.

Not to worry...  thanks for looking into it for me though.  As you say, #3 is not the issue, but at least I now know to look out for #7 as Movielover suggests.  That one sounds about right.  Thanks once again for your own research.   Much appreciated!   :)
Cheers!
Melbee.
