On another topic, are any of the scanners of JVJ's stuff planning on doing any pre-code horror (other than the St. John stuff)?
I'd like to see some, and it looks like there are other fans here too.
I offered to do it myself, but looks like JVJ has his hands full. I am still willing to do it, but may not be the best person.
I am not very discriminating in my scans. As long as I can read them, that's OK with me. I also like them small so as to not take up too much space (yes, DVDs are cheap, but they are also bulky and I'd rather have 10 of them sitting around than 100). On the flip side, I do them pretty quickly.
Having some one else do them would be better but if no one else is planning on it then any scan would be better than nothing.
I am also very interested in getting JVJ's index cards for the pre-code horror stuff, even the stuff that's already on the site (as long as the art credits haven't already been added to GCD).
I would be happy to index all this stuff for GCD. I have even thought about creating a pre-code horror guide and posting it on the web somehwere (something like the Terrology book that was mentioned in Tales Too Terrible to Tell but never published - only this one would be made available free of charge).
If someone else is scanning any pre-code horror, I'd love to see any of it, but at the top of my list is the Ajax stuff (though JVJ only has 4 that are unscanned), Mysterious Adventures, Web of Mystery, the remaining Harvey stuff, and Beware Terror Tales 8. Also wouldn't mind seeing Mysterious Traveler as it is generally pretty expensive when it shows up on E-bay.
