Hey, guys! I thought people might get a kick out of this new comic anthology that recently came out called Agitainment.comics (http://agitainment.com/ics). The stories have an old-school EC-type feel.

It updates every Monday, and you can view the latest installment at http://agitainment.com/ics or start reading from the beginning at http://agitainment.com/ics/2008/12/22/ufo-part-1/.

The art is really nice on these, and the story The Collector has an excellent ending.  UFO didn't feel complete to me; is that still in progress?

Thanks for the support, guys.

Cimmerian32: love the avatar! As you can probably tell from my work, I'm a Frazetta fan.

Brainster: "UFO" is still in progress. It's going to be full comic length (about 22 pages) by the time it's all over, so there's lots more to come. I've added a note in the "This Week's Comic" text-box on the front page of Agitainment.comics to let people know what's in store for next week. Thanks for the heads-up on the fact that was a little unclear.

Great stuff i especially dig the art, better than 90% of what is being published by the big two in my opinion.i like the way your able to switch styles ,besides the definite ec feel of u.f.o. it also reminds me of shawn mcmanus, and the gryphon looks like a marriage of finlay ,krenkel and gustove dore. i would be interested in  knowing your artistic influences.

Thanks for the kind words, Palooka slim (and sorry for the untimely response).

As for influences, most of them are oldies: Hal Foster, Frank Frazetta, Bernie Krigstein, Wally Wood, Frank Miller (okay, he's not so old, but he's been around a while). And of course a lot of the great non-comics artists and illustrators who came before them--you definitely hit the nail on the head with Dore for "The Gryphon". Is that what you were looking for?

I talk a more about my influences for "The Gryphon" in the Agitainment Forum here.

Also, if you haven't seen it yet, "Iron Harvest" is now running at Agitainment.Comics. It's something of a departure from my previous work, but I think you might like it.
