Wondering if anyone has read the Blue Beetle companion that Two Morrows publishing put out a while back. I just read it for the second time- great info source for info on the publishing companies of the Golden Age.

I was less impressed by the book (especially in comparison to the usual TwoMorrows offerings, though, so take that with a grain of salt).  It's a good starting point for further research, but there were too many points where it seemed like the author just read Wikipedia as "research."  To me, it was too padded with "checklists" (no doubt pasted from the web), page scans, blurry photographs, and biographies of barely-related creators than on the characters and stories.  (In fact, Brett's right--there's better information on the publishing landscape of the day than on anything related to the Beetle.)

I might recommend picking it up if you can find it cheap, but it's not the in-depth analysis that I was hoping for, by any means.
