Love the complete sets in the archives...
« on: June 21, 2009, 07:02:16 PM »

Hey everyone,

Just been browsing the archive and started downloading and reading some of the complete sets... Very nice!!!

Not only am I using the comics from the archive to create generic backdrops for bookstore shots in my film, but I've started reading the sets and boy-oh-boy they are exciting!!!

And just got to the lower list of the archives and TOR is such a treat!!!

I had the first issue of 1m Bc, and reading the rest is coolness!!!

Question: Do I have to keep fishing thru the archive to find the complete sets or is there a list or notice when sets are complete?

Glad you are enjoying the scans George.

The listings in here aren't up to date.  The easiest way to find complete sets is to click on any Publishers name on the main site and hit 'Ctrl-F' (find) and do a search for 'COMPLETE SERIES!'.  Under each title if we have them all I've tried to add that phrase.

ie Charltan has several.

Good luck,

Let us not forget all the complete Croyden/RH series many I scanned from JVJ. Of course some series only have one issue so that was easy. Camera Comics from the JVJ collection is also complete and worth a look.
