In some of JVJ's issues of The Texan I recently scanned there was a feature called The Bold Buckeroo.  In Ji'ms note card for issue #3 (but not #2), the George Tuska drawn Bold Buckeroo stories are noted as "Chessler Reprint" (as is the Al Jennings 1 pager).

So Jim or anyone do you know from where it was reprinted?  GCD doesn't note this, and a search for "Bold Buckeroo" only shows St. John issues.

And while I'm asking about The Texan, does anyone have any idea about the Prairie Guns series in issues #12-14.  The stories look like they were designed for a smaller format

I'd have to check what few Chelser books I have, Jon,
but I think that the "Bold Buckeroo" was also reNAMEd as well as reprinted. The original is probably called "The Gay Desperado".
