Charlton editorial meeting: "Hey, we need a new comic character--any ideas?" "Sure, let's rip off Dennis the Menace." "Ok, but make sure you change the characters slightly so we won't get sued." "Right--our character will have red hair, not blonde. And it'll be his mother who wears eyeglasses, not his father. Otherwise, they'll look exactly the same." "Or at least as close as our Charlton artists can make them look, ha ha!"
