Camilla was the jungle girl most blatantly derived from H. Rider Haggard's SHE -- at least as she started out in this first volume. Halfway through, they began tweaking her, until she became another understudy for Sheena in #27, the only real difference being the zebra-skin outfit she wore. Still, there's some nice artwork on Camilla, particularly the later ones by Fran Hopper.
