Anyone know of any that have colors in their names?

How much time have you got ?

Seems to me just about every colour has been used in the names of comic book characters over the past 70 years.

So where would you like to start ?

Pitch me a colour and I'll give you some names.

Hmm...how about we start it off with Orange? I think that is a difficult one. don't tell me there was a Orange Man out there!!

There was a character called simply Orange in Swamp Thing.  The Spectrum group in the 1992 series of Teen Titans also had a character called Orange. 

Orange you glad we didn't start with chartreuse?

Maybe I should have added something like 'Within Reason" and before you ask I can't find anything under 'Pink' either but Red, Black, Blue, Green, White even Bronze have all been used.

Nigel, does Pinky the Whiz Kid count?  I mean, palling around with Mr. Scarlet, it's obviously intended to invoke the color pink...

Black Cobra, Black Owl, Black Jack, Black Commando, Black Pirate, a GA Black Orchid as well as DC's Black Orchid, various Black Knights off the top of my head.

There was a humorous character called the Pink Protector, so that covers one color right there.  Also, the Outsiders fought a bad guy named Agent Orange.  Here's some more I can think of:

WHITE:  White Tiger
RED:  Red Tornado, Red Torpedo
BLUE: Blue Beetle, Blue Bolt
CRIMSON:  Crimson Avenger
GREY:  Grey Seal, Greyshirt
GREEN: Green Hornet, Green Lantern, Green Lama
YELLOW:  Yellowjacket
PURPLE:  Purple Tigress
VIOLET:  Ultra Violet
GOLD:  Golden Gladiator, Golden Centurion

Camera Comics featured a character called Grey Comet who was an Army Air Force pilot in the early issue and detective in the later. No special powers or anything just a name.

Jimmie Dale, the Grey Seal was, iirc, an old pulp character.  Grayshirt is a character created by Alan Moore and appearing in America's Best Comics' offerings.

Was Black Satan PD? What did he do? Great List!

Quoting from my own site: Black Satan: 1941, Yankee Comics #1 (Harry "A" Chesler). "A district attorney during the daytime, Harold Flynn adopts the role of the dreaded Black Satan for his nightly crusade against crime" runs the description on the first page of his adventure. Interestingly he has a mustache on the splash page but nowhere else. He carries a special gun that can blind his foes.

I do recall the character from his original apperance now you mention it ( DC's version of the Squadron Supreme ?) but was not aware that he had been seen beyond that.
