A reminder that Free Comic Book Day is next Sunday, May 4th. If interested, you can Google to see this years offerings. Alas, for the third straight year, nothing has caught my fancy but I'm sure some of you will find something. Turn out and support your LCB! Cheers, Bowers

...Two interesting ones oof vintage material to me were-
Drawn & Quarterly's LITTLE LULU sampler. Some John Stanley Lulu stories. Good, of course! It also had a one-page puzzle sorta-filler and a two-page text-story-with-illos that I suspect may have been newly put together/written ~ reusing vintage John Stanley images, but a new puzzle and new text. Anyone else have it? I got mine stolen <sob>.
Rebellion/2000 A.D. had  a comic book-sized release titled FUNNY PAGES - which I guess was a sample of books of theirs that reprint vintage British humorous comics' material! One of the artists showcase was Leo Baxendale.
I mention that it was standard U.S. comic boop size because most of the comics were obviously drawn & printed originally to fit much larger British-format comic book pages - and were shrunk to fit in their proper proportions on a Yank page with extra space oat the bottom of the page! Again, if anyone...
