Another Frost-Passingham masterpiece! A sultry Lesley Shane on the cover gets us off to a great start in a fascinating mystery of murder at the ballet.
I love the criticism that the lead dancer has allowed himself to be murdered before curtain up on the opening night of the new ballet – no consideration some people! Is it possible to hate someone but still admire them to the point of adulation - the themes run deep in a Lesley Shane! Did you guess the identity of the Red Mask before the reveal – I’m afraid I didn’t, I was a bit slow this time.
I have a soft spot for Sue, Lesley’s secretary – it would be nice to see her take a larger role in a future story.
I loved the bottom right panel page 56
