Issue date: 7 Aug 1952. Of the 450 titles in the series this is the only one with a photo-cover, although the image is reversed and the coloring is applied. (A pity the cover scans aren't as good as the page scans, which are excellent.) Note that Marcus' friend Nerva (Norman Woodland) and Petronius' slavegirl Eunice (Marina Berti) are excised from the story. Also, Nero spares the lives of Lygia and Ursus, which he doesn't do in the film.
