Lovely pencils on this Rick Random adventure – look at bottom panel, page 3 as an example. I wonder who the artist was? A pan-galactic outing for Rick as he unravels a murder mystery using some prescient technology – DNA analysis on a glove, a subconscious thought reader, a warp drive, fax machine and that’s just for starters.

There’s an attractive feline empath with pointy ears by the name of Feleena Smark and more alien species than a Mos Eisley cantina. The world-building underlines the strength of the picture library format giving the writer and artist time to fill in detail. A visual feast!

The artist is the magnificent Ron Turner, supreme designer of future locations and hardware. Not bad at people, either.
