Terrific front cover by Maurice Whitman – that poor girl’s gonna have her work cut out against that ghostly ghoulie fangy thing.

The Banshee Bells was – well – creepy! Pencils were a little lacking but the story gripped – was he going mad or wasn’t he? Those poor kids – looks like they’re trapped in school for eternity

Flee the Phantoms was my next favourite. The scene on the bus was ultra-scary – but a neat way of telling some quick tales – shame about the blonde in the red dress

The Parting has a ventriloquist’s dummy. I’ve always felt there’s something not quite right about ventriloquists – those split personalities – finally, I’ve been proved right!
